Just a small update from this morning, i've begun texturing what will become the final look of the cargo container walls and i also did a small lighting test for the outside lamps. I feel like lighting is going to be quite a challenge in this project, striking the right balance with it being a night time scene.
I also created the decal for the Dumont Shipping logo, whilst it's colours need to be paled back to match the movie environment more closesly, it functions as a nice little decal test for me.

Sam Flynn's House : Tron Legacy
My aim in this project is to produce an environment heavily influenced by Sam Flynn's ramshackle home in Tron Legacy, as shown below
The bulk of the environment has already been basically modelled and blocked out within 3dsmax, with quite meticulous attention to detail paid to measurements. A handful of assets have been taken fairly far down the creation pipeline and i am now in the process of transferring all the work i have done in 3dsmax into the real time game engine Unreal Engine, which i'm using for this project.
Here is some of the early work in 3dsmax and blocking out of the environment's basic proportions.
Below is a sample of images i took directly from the movie and i'm closely using as reference, hopefully it was also give you a good idea of what the final product is aiming for.
